Caterpillar launches 319 excavator on Next Generation platform
Caterpillar is launching the Cat 319 hydraulic excavator at ConExpo 2026, slotting into the compact radius lineup between the 315 and 325 models. Built on the 317 Next Generation platform, the 319 is designed for the 19 – 20t compact radius segment and is focused on transportation, lifting, safety and versatility requirements. The machine is built around a 2.8m undercarriage, with a 2.2m track gauge, and remains within a maximum transport width of 3.0m.
