Caterpillar and Geotab simplify customers’ full fleet management by integrating new on-highway capabilities into the VisionLink software.

The joint effort between Geotab, an on-highway software solution provider, and Caterpillar, with its VisionLink software, has resulted in streamlined solutions for managing customers’ entire fleets. The key focus is on improving uptime, productivity, safety, compliance, and cost efficiency across both on-highway assets and Cat and non-Cat off-highway equipment.

“Geotab leverages advanced data analytics and AI to transform fleet performance and operations, improve efficiency and reduce costs. Our GO devices, cameras, and asset trackers offer easy installation, auto-pairing, and simple calibration and integrate on-highway vehicle data into Caterpillar’s VisionLink through MyGeotab. This increases asset and fleet management efficiency, advances safety, and automates compliance reporting.”

Neil Cawse, founder and CEO of Geotab, explained.
Geotab provides advanced fleet management solutions and delivers on-highway services, with nearly 6 million connected vehicles across 160 countries. By combining this data with more than 1.6 million connected off-highway assets reporting through VisionLink of Cat, customers gain a complete view of their entire fleet. Data captured from on-highway vehicles will be visible alongside off-highway equipment data, offering a single source of information for full fleet management.

AI-enabled cameras will be available to customers from their local Cat dealer, online at Parts.Cat.com, and through other Caterpillar eCommerce solutions.
