Scott Young, Head of Sales Region North America for Volvo Construction Equipment, has been appointed Chair of CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2029, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) confirmed. The appointment follows CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, held in Las Vegas on March 3-7, which attracted more than 140,000 construction professionals from 128 countries.
Young has been an active participant in AEM leadership for years, serving on the association’s boards and committees.

Young has served as Head of Sales Region North America for Volvo Construction Equipment since September 1, 2023. He has more than 25 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, including roles at Ingersoll Rand and Volvo. In his previous position at Volvo CE, he was Head of Uptime, leading teams focused on new technologies and service-led business models in partnership with the dealer network.
The next CONEXPO-CON/AGG is scheduled for March 13-17, 2029, in Las Vegas.
