SaMoTer, the triennial construction machinery event organised by Veronafiere, is approaching its 32nd edition. The exhibition will take place in Verona from 6 to 9 May 2026, bringing OEMs, dealers, contractors and industry professionals back to one of Europe’s key meeting points for the sector.
Ahead of the show, Veronafiere staged SaMoTer B2Press on 13 March 2026, a networking event built around short, focused one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and the specialised press.
B2Press: 18 companies, 32 journalists, 12 countries
Held at Veronafiere’s Congress Centre, B2Press brought together 18 exhibiting companies and 32 specialised journalists from 12 countries, in order to give exhibitors a structured platform to preview product and technology highlights ahead of SaMoTer’s opening in early May.
“B2Press confirms SaMoTer’s role as a reference point for the construction sector and for earthmoving and road machinery. It is a concrete opportunity to build long-term relationships between companies and the international press, creating the conditions for qualified visibility and targeted networking. Held six weeks before SaMoTer opens, B2Press is a strategic step towards the show, strengthening exhibitors’ media exposure and supporting them on the road to the May event with an added boost in terms of presence and positioning.”
Explained Matteo Pasinato, SaMoTer event manager.

What exhibitors put on the table
The day ran on a dense schedule of 15-minute one-to-one meetings, giving brands room to outline what they plan to showcase during SaMoTer 2026 and to flag the parts of their portfolios they expect to be most relevant this year.
Across the discussions, organisers highlighted recurring themes that will likely dominate the show agenda: product innovation, automation, environmental sustainability, emissions reduction, and jobsite digitalisation. The format also included a light lunch and informal networking, designed to keep conversations going beyond the timed sessions.
SaMoTer 2026 at a glance: halls, exhibitors and content
The next edition of SaMoTer, organised by Veronafiere in partnership with UNACEA and CECE, is set to welcome manufacturers, dealers, contractors and professionals from around the world. The 2026 show will span six halls and three outdoor areas, and organisers have indicated that more than 500 exhibitors are expected, with the figure still being finalised ahead of the 10 April 2026 exhibitor registration deadline. A dedicated content programme is also planned in the SaMoTer Arena (Hall 9), with conferences, technical workshops and industry briefings involving trade associations, institutions and operators.
The HeavyQuip Magazine team will be on site at SaMoTer 2026 to report from the show floor, bringing readers the latest exhibitor updates, product launches and on-the-ground insights from Verona.
