Pro-Vision Acquires Spartan Radar, an American Radar Provider

Pro-Vision, a mobile video solutions provider, has recently acquired Spartan Radar, a California-based radar innovator advancing collision-avoidance technologies. The combination of advanced radar and video systems strengthens Pro-Vision’s position in providing intelligent fleet safety solutions and protecting drivers on crowded roads.

Spartan Radar has been producing radar-based collision warning solutions since 2019. One of its main products is HOPLO, an advanced system which detects blind spots and can enhance vehicle safety in many industries, especially mining and construction.

This acquisition represents a strategic step forward for Pro-Vision, strengthening its portfolio by combining advanced radar software with proven video systems. The integration is expected to improve object detection, driver assistance capabilities, and post-incident analysis across commercial, transit, and public sector fleets.
