A compact Dieci Mini Agri Smart 20.4 telehandler moves between fish tanks on the Serafini trout farm in Tione di Trento, Italy. One Compact Telehandler, Dozens of Fish Tanks: A Job Story From a Trentino Trout Farm published on The HeavyQuip Magazine.
The Serafini farm chose Dieci’s Mini Agri Smart 20.4 for its size, stability and attachment
Fish farming is not the first sector people associate with telehandlers. At Serafini Farm in Tione di Trento, in the heart of Trentino, a Dieci Mini Agri Smart 20.4 has become a daily tool.
The site
The farm breeds and produces freshwater trout. Work happens among tanks, on rough ground and in tight spaces, which puts a premium on manoeuvrability and stability. Dieci visited the farm to hear why it picked the compact telehandler.
Why it fits
Operating on uneven ground is one of the Mini Agri Smart’s main advantages, but stability is not what won the customer over. What makes the difference is the machine’s compact size and its attachment, which turn it into a key operational asset, reducing downtime and improving daily productivity.
Simone, from the farm, put it simply: “With a single machine, we can move easily between the tanks and carry out many operations that would otherwise take much longer.”
What it shows
For dealers, the story illustrates how compact telehandlers are finding work beyond construction and farming, in sites where space is the constraint and one machine has to replace several. Dieci has also opened its #DieciStories campaign to customers who want to share their own photos and experiences.
