Komatsu has entered a strategic partnership with Aim Intelligent Machines, a developer of autonomous operation technology for bulldozers and hydraulic excavators, to deliver autonomous construction solutions for the Japanese and US markets. The agreement also involves Komatsu subsidiary Earthbrain, and combines the three companies’ expertise in construction equipment, digital construction management and autonomous operation technology. Komatsu and Earthbrain provide Smart Construction, a digital construction management solution that connects construction planning, digitally enabled equipment, jobsite management and remote operation.
